STAFF BIOS
VETERINARIANS:
-
Dr. Carolyn Slavin-Semel, VMD,is the owner and senior doctor at Bryan Animal Hospital. A native of suburban Detroit, Dr. Slavin graduated from the University of Michigan in 1989. Then, on scholarship, she attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, from which she graduated in 1993. She now resides in the Art Museum area of Philadelphia with her husband, two sons, their two dog Fudge and Poncho and their 4 cats.
- Dr. Diane Horn, VMD,who worked at Bryan from 1992 to 2001, returns after a brief hiatus. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She is a New Jersey native who now resides in New Egypt with her husband, Dave (also a veterinarian) and daughter, Rachel, their two dogs Albi, and Gibson. and two horses. Dr. Horn is an excellent surgeon and general practitioner.
TECHNICIANS:
- Sheri, our head technician has been with Bryan since 2002. She lives with her husband, two children, her grandson Mason and many animals in Browns Mills. Sheri enjoys going to continuing education seminars and teaching our other technicians.
- Tracey, has been with Bryan for 15 years. She started out as a kennel technician and then managed the kennel for a few years. She is now a valuable member of our technician staff. She lives in Columbus with her husband and two children. She also happens to be our resident Giants fan!!!
KENNEL:
- Jessica, is the new kennel mangager at Bryan and will be working to make your cat or dog's stay as pleasant an experience as possible. She has been with us for almost 2 years and has been both a receptionist and a technician for Bryan.
- Rebecca, is a recent addition to Bryan Animal Hospital. She has a Shepard Mix named Bella and a Siberian Husky named Toby. When she's not at work she spends time drag racing, working on cars, wheeling and riding her quad.
- Ashley: Is one of our newest members to the kennel staff, she is very caring and loving with our animals here. She is from Mt. Holly, and she is currently working at the shelter also as a second job.
RECEPTIONISTS:
- Brenda: Is our Head Receptionist she has been with us for over 20 years, she has a son named Shawn who is going to school to be a veterinarian. She has one dog named Angel and a couple of cats.
- Bobbi: Is our newest receptionist, she was originally from Florida, she lives in Mt. Holly with her husband, son, and her many animals.
